Verified Gross Mass (VGM) For Container Shipments

 

Dear Customers,

Determination and notification of containers’ gross mass shall be subject to new rules according to SOLAS convention of International Maritime Organization (IMO) and directives of Turkish Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.

According to this, all containers departing from Pendik, Ambarlı shall be charged Euro 5,- / container for Verified Gross Mass (VGM) declaration as of 19 February 2018. All containers departing from Mersin MIP shall be charged Euro 15,- / container.

We kindly ask you to inform your relevant operational units.
