U.N. Ro-Ro, Shorten Transit Time of Tank Container Transportion

 

Aiming to enhance its load types, as of November 2013, U.N. Ro-Ro has begun to give a transportation service for Flexi and ISO tank containers -constructed according to international standards for liquid and chemical cargoes- on the basis of considering intermodal container market needs and its customers’ demands. U.N. Ro-Ro hereby has shorten the transit time and given a low-cost service to its international land transport companies via intermodal transportation system and with this system U.N. Ro-Ro has provided the most efficient alternative transportation model to its customers which is free from problems specific to land transport, such as adverse weather conditions, car accidents and blocked roads. U.N. Ro-Ro transports variety of product types that are loaded to tank containers to its ultimate customers when post-import customs transaction has completed at Pendik Port. Sample procedure is fulfilled by our own company if requested or required.

On Pendik-Trieste line, known as its main transportation line for U.N. Ro-Ro, has six sailings, three sailings on Pendik-Toulon line and two sailings per week on Mersin-Trieste line. At Trieste arrivals U.N. Ro-Ro carries tank containers to different cities throughout in Europe like Wels in Austria, Padova and Milano in Italy, Bettembourg in Luxemburg and many other cities in Germany by rail which departs from the Port of Trieste.
