U.N. Ro-Ro Port of Pendik Celebrates its 10th Anniversary

 

U.N. Ro-Ro Port of Pendik, being operated with high standards, has been awarded with ISO certificates recently and today celebrates its 10th Anniversary which brought into service in 29th of April, 2006.

Port of Pendik is the most modern RO-RO terminal in Turkey which has 650 trailer capacity and 112,00 sqm land area and is well-known with its strategic location and quality service.  Pendik Ro-Ro terminal distinguishes itself with its Gamma-Ray system -implemented in order to prevent human and nuclear substance trafficking which is one of the most important issues of international transportation today- and tax free fuel from the fuel station within the terminal for international transport companies and exporters carrying “Turkish Imports” are allowed to purchase.

At this port, there are 6 roundtrip sailings a week for Pendik-Trieste line -known as the main line-,  3 roundtrip sailings a week for Pendik-Toulon line and a sailing only for export direction from Pendik to Ancona.
