Turkey's Largest Intermodal Network: U.N. Ro-Ro

 

​Established in 1994, U.N. RO-RO’s success story continued with the company increasing its number of modern ro-ro vessels and their capacities, the launching of the Pendik Port, the geographic expansion of its lines through launching of Ambarlı, Mersin and France ports of call, the Trieste Port investments and the strengthening of intermodal connections. As of the end of 2015, U.N. RO-RO is the fourth biggest company that provides ro-ro freight transportation services in the world, in terms of both the number of vessels operated and the vessels’ capacities. Possessing the largest ro-ro fleet in Turkey, U.N. RO-RO is the second biggest company in the Mediterranean. With 12 modern ro-ro vessels and 43.5 km liner meters of vessel capacity, it is among the leading companies in the sector.
