Digital Bookings/ GTMS Pendik terminal
Dear Customers,
As DFDS, we are continuously making efforts to improve the quality of service for our customers and one of the focus points at the moment is the digitalization.
We are urging our customer daily to book the units online in advance and many of our customer use our online services already which is appreciated, but we still have too many units arriving to port without a booking or an incorrect booking with missing plate/container number etc.
As we announced previously GTMS (new terminal system) is deployed in our terminal in Pendik since last week – and we still need the full support from our customer to make their bookings via our online platform before the units arrive to terminal.
To run this workflow efficiently and to provide our customer a benefit, it is essential that you make your booking requests with unit types, plate numbers and specific details (e.g. IMO, temperature etc.) in advance via our online reservation system My Freight, before your units arrive at Pendik Port via following system : https://my-freight.dfds.com
As of 28. November 2022 , we will apply following regulations:
Units which have no online booking incl. plate/unit number before arriving to the terminal, cannot enter the Pendik terminal.
Units which have no online booking incl. plate/unit number for before arriving to the terminal , will have no prioritiy for loading on our vessels.
(if no loading due to incorrect booking, storage costs will be applied as usual).
Therefore we urge our customers to make an online reservation including plate number before your units arrive to the terminal.
