M/V UN Akdeniz Undergoes Capacity Increase

 

In November of 2016, U.N. Ro-Ro İşletmeleri A.Ş. took the step of ship lengthening project, which has been working on since 2008, with 193 meters length and 240 trailer capacity M / V  UN Akdeniz Ro-Ro ship. After cutting and separation process the 30m length new block was added to the relevant Ro-Ro ship in the past days.

U.N. Ro-Ro is a 100% Turkish company that has Turkish flag and Turkish crew. With the aim of benefiting the development of the maritime and ship industry U.N. Ro-Ro prefered to work with a Turkish Shipyard.  In the first half of the year, U.N. Ro-Ro will extend two ships and provide a 23% capacity increase.
 
With this lengthening project U.N. Ro-Ro aims to eliminate the problem of waiting by using the relevant vessels on busy days and routes as well as to be a solution to the long queer line of international Turkish transporters' black gates on weekends.
