Combined Bookings Incentive Scheme

 

Dear Customers,

As it was announced in the Customer Announcement for 2021, companies which can provide a combined vessel and train booking from Turkey to final train destination in Europe, using the first available DFDS train (Bettembourg, Cologne, and Wels) from Trieste, will be entitled to get EUR 50 discount on each intermodal unit. This incentive will be applied between 01/01/2021 – 30/06/2021, and will only be valid if:

• The combined bookings are received before the booking cut-off time (latest 12:00 on day of vessel departure from Turkey)
• No changes made to the booking after above mentioned cut-off time
• Unit is fit for rail (e.g. stowed to avoid overhang side during sea passage, doors, and rods properly locked and no structural damages)
• All necessary documents for sea and rail shipments are submitted before the cut-off times

Customers must send their combined bookings to the following email: trieste.med@dfds.com

The required booking details are as follows: 

• License plate number
• ILU code (cranable units)
• Vessel route and date of departure
• End destination of the unit (Bettembourg/Wels/Cologne)

Customers making use of the combined booking scheme, entitles DFDS to book these units on the first available train upon arrival in Trieste.
