About Sete Flight Transfers

 

Dear Customers,

In addition to our on board passenger service which we have been providing for drivers who are accompanying their complete and long vehicle units on Sète – Yalova route, we are happy to announce that our reciprocal flights on Marseilles – Istanbul route will start again as of 05/09/2020. 

The first export voyage with a flight transfer connection for drivers will depart from Yalova on 02/09/2020. Similarly, the first import voyage with a flight transfer connection will depart from Sète on 04/09/2020.

In the first phase, our flights will only be operated for export voyages on Wednesdays and import voyages on Fridays, on weekly basis. For Yalova-Sète export voyages which are scheduled to depart on Wednesdays, related flight will be performed on Saturday. For Sète-Yalova import voyages which are scheduled to depart on Fridays, related flight day will also be Saturday.

Due to the ongoing flight restrictions, our drivers who will depart from Istanbul Airport after completing their export loading must have the below listed documents on person and declare if asked by border police to ensure smooth entrance to France upon their arrival.

• Photocopy of the vehicle’s license (tow trucks and trailers should be documented separately)
• Photocopy of the vehicle’s green insurance (tow trucks and trailers should be documented separately)
• The CMR transport document of the load inside the trailer
• The Affidavit Entrance Form (Attachment-1) accepted by France
• Reference letter which must be presented on stamped letterhead paper of your company and given to your driver (Attachment-2)

Additionally, export drivers must also keep confirmed results of their PCR tests in their possession which must have been done maximum 72 hours before the flight.

Based on the clearly indicated notices, passengers who are unable to prove their occupation as a driver working in the field of international transportation will be refused upon arrival regardless of the fact that they were accepted to take the flight Istanbul.

There is no additional procedure for Turkish drivers who will return to Turkey.

We would kindly like to remind you that you need to transmit your flight requests for export voyages through the DFDS Flight Request System on the day following vessel’s departure and for import voyages to Sète Agency via your freight forwarders on the day of departure.

Please inform all your relevant business units in order to avoid operational disruption.
