About Containers to be Handled at DFDS Pendik Port

 

Dear Customer,

 

In order to prevent loss of time that may arise in container handling, it is important that the container number is written on each side (4 sides) of the containers. In this regard, we ask for your support in determining whether there is a number deficiency in the containers available within your company and in making the necessary arrangements by your company.

In order to reduce possible damage to the equipment during operation, marking the tops and grip points of swapbody containers (as seen in the example picture) with yellow paint is important for load and operation safety. You can apply this process to your swap units yourself or get service from our port. If service is requested by us, a marking fee of € 25 will be applied.
