A new railway line to our intermodal network: Trieste – Milan

Dear Customer,

As DFDS Business Unit Mediterranean, we are pleased to announce that we have added a new railway line to our unique intermodal solutions that connect you quickly and efficiently to key markets in Europe.

Starting November 28, we will operate two weekly services on our Trieste-Sacconago railway line.

This new and specially designed line will provide you with more capacity, efficiency and speed in rail transportation to the north of Italy.

All DFDS operations are processed by a dedicated control tower and a skilled team dedicated to monitoring and managing all aspects of your cargo, from start to finish.

Cranable trailers and container units can be loaded in our new line. The tariff rate will be 300 EUR / unit which includes complimentary storage services at Sacconago for 90 days for our customers utilizing this route.
