2026 CUSTOMER ANNOUNCEMENT

2026 CUSTOMER ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Customers,

Although 2025 saw limited market growth due to global economic conditions and regional fluctuations, the experience we gained and the strategic approaches we implemented during this period have enabled us to move forward with stronger steps towards the future. In this regard, we are pleased to share with you the changes and improvements we will implement in 2026.

We would like to announce that the new pricing model, introduced this year in September, has been further developed based on your feedback and will be implemented as of 1st of January 2026. Accordingly, the Performance Bonus Scheme, which was initially launched with three tiers based on monthly shipment volume, will continue to be applied under similar conditions in the new year with an expanded structure of five tiers.

Sea-freight rates will remain unchanged across all routes. However, due to increasing costs at the ports we operate, a surcharge of EUR 10 will be applied per port. Over the web-link below, you may review our new freight rates – inclusive of updated port charges, along with the updated details of the Performance Bonus Scheme.

No changes are planned for the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) structure in 2026. The EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), first introduced in 2024 with a phased implementation program by the European Union, will expand to full coverage as of the new year. The updated ETS & FEUM scale applicable in 2026 will be shared with our customers in December through a separate announcement.

As part of our collaborations with train operators in order to meet your requests, we would also like to inform you that you may continue to benefit from intermodal services within the lines destined to Cologne, Wels, Bettembourg, and Calais. A separate announcement regarding train schedules and the pricing will be shared with our customers in the upcoming days. The new year’s sailing plan will be implemented as outlined below. Please note that capacity and frequency increases may be introduced based on market conditions and demand.

To prevent problems during operations and keep the maximum occupancy rate at the terminal under control in Trieste, priority will be given to your units arriving at SST for train loading. Your units arriving from outside the terminal will be accepted into the terminal and included in train loading operations depending on availability on the trains and terminals.

Pendik – Trieste: 6 sailings per week (With Patras, Bari, and Martaş way-calls)
Mersin – Trieste: 2 sailings per week (With increased vessel capacity)
Yalova – Sète: 5 sailings per week (With İzmir and Martaş way-calls)
Damietta – Trieste: 1 sailing per week (With Patras import way-call)

We hope that the new year brings better conditions for our country and our industry and wish all our customers a healthy and productive year.
